Welcome to the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.
Our department provides high-quality, team-based care at UF Health Jacksonville, UF Health North, and the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, serving a diverse patient population across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. With more than 30 faculty physicians, nearly 50 allied health providers, and 16 residents, we practice across a wide range of clinical settings and anesthesiology subspecialties.
Our residency program is dedicated to training anesthesiologists who are clinically excellent, intellectually curious, and prepared to lead. We offer a mission-driven, learner-centered experience that emphasizes evidence-based practice, quality improvement, patient safety, interprofessional teamwork, and mentorship. We are especially proud of our strong sense of community, commitment to wellness, and focus on compassionate care for underserved populations.
