Patient Care
UF Health TraumaOne is the region’s only Level I trauma center, covering a vast area that encompasses Southeast Georgia and the Florida counties of St. Johns and Clay. Our division’s expertise includes advanced techniques of diagnosis and treatment of the severely injured patient such as:
- Advanced techniques for the management of the traumatized airway
- Critical care trauma
- Massive transfusion therapy
- Point of care diagnostic ultrasound
We provide anesthesia and critical care anesthesia to severely injured patients of all ages. Working together with the trauma surgeons, we provide efficient care that results in favorable outcomes in the majority of the cases.
